The sun has set, and I'm sitting in Newark airport, airing my feet and watching the clock. I fly out for Belfast at 9:20pm, and I'm hoping that this will be the first transatlantic flight I've ever been able to sleep on!
I'm excited for the coming year but exhausted from my brother's wedding... And yet, I'm less nervous than I expected. As soon as I went through security and smelled airplane fuel and saw people scurrying about towards their destinations, I felt like I was on my way home.
Keep in touch! Let me know what's going on back at home as often as (or more often than) I let you know what's going on here!
Hey! Home is the other way Suzanne! JK
ReplyDeleteBe glad you aren't here, Rosemary and I are home sick. Lucky me, right?
